Ah, thank you. I leave for a long haul flight on Friday, my first since I was a teen 20 years ago. On Sunday, after two days of travel, when I check into my hotel and all I want to do is sleep, I'll think of you, and Utrecht, and "marvelous". I'll drag my sleep deprived corpse out to the streets, and contemplate reality. Future me thanks you.
I fly overnight to London out of LaGuardia and arrive in the morings. It adds an extra day to a trip. And I always promise that I will rest upon early check in and I never do. The last time was for an exhibit at the National Gallery (relatively nearby) that I was somehow unaware of. Impulsivity can be a good thing ...
I had a similar experience in an old cathedral in Seattle. I was on a college choir tour and we stopped to hear the priests do Gregorian chant on a Saturday night. The place was packed and people of all ages were laying on the floors and pinched into pews. We spent an hour laying and listening to the overtones reverberate off the cathedral walls. It was magic.
This now contextualizes something else they said. When I told folks what I'd done, they said "was it a lying down one?" and I said NO, I GAVE UP LYING DOWN TO BE AT IT!
In my old age I live vicariously through you. it is healthier than laying that burden on my daughters. Thank you for the brief look into your world.
This is so charming. :)

DELIGHTED.
A Maggie tale alright. Hoofing it through Utrecht should be a slogan. I dig it.

Marvelous, indeed!

Self care at its best.
And you still managed a nap ❤️
